 Our Mission

 We train to bring out the best in the dogs that are with us, building a foundation for learning, communication and performance. Our clients enjoy the rewards of our training program.  Dogs that are good citizens, steady working companions in the duck blind and competitive team players at the line.  

Our Goal

 Whether for hunt test, hunting buddy or pet our goal is to get the most out of your retriever.

I started at a very young age, helping my Dad as a bird boy.  Since then I have trained and Titled  many dogs including my first titled dog which I sold to be a guide dog for one of the "Budwiser'" hunting camps. Also a Grand Hunting Retriver Champion, Master Hunter, Upland Hunter named "Cody" who was the only GRHRCH in Michigan when he was alive. 

Currently I am the President of Central Michigan Hunting Retriever Club.

One of the questions I often get is "Will I be involved in the training?" Owners of the dogs I train are welcome to participate as much as they would like. What I tell them is, "I can build you a race car but some one still has to teach you how to drive it."

Most of the dogs we train also participate in Hunt Tests. This type of training goes hand-in- hand  with those who want a solid hunting companion that's a pleasure to have in the blind. I encourage the owners to participate when ever possible.
